The Jumping Drum Dance of Longde Temple was established in 1976. The team participated in Xigang xiangke festival and was once invited to perform at a TV station. However, due to difficulties of recruiting members, their performance was halted for more than 30 years after its decade-long establishment. In 2015, Committee Chairman Chen recruited community residents and former members of the Jumping Drum Dance to establish a new team. The new team performed once again in 2018 Xigang xiangke festival, showing cohesion among village members and winning applauses.
The Jumping Drum Dance is a rich formation mainly composed of drums, umbrellas and gongs. The audience can observe the life and culture of the early agricultural era from the dance.
