Folk Dance Ensemble “TUCOVIC”

In Belgrade before 30 years, three of the best dance groups section of "FRULA", the Youth Theater "SUSRET" and youth choir "EHO", established cultural art society "Dimitrije Tucovic". Society is a member of internationally recognized dance organization CIOFF, IOV and CID. I Ensemble, which are sometimes performed today known writers, musicians and artists, is among the 10 best in Belgrade.

Traveling through the world the original and authentic steps and concerts in the best way of representing our country and culture. With the program they performed received many awards at international folk festivals in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, France, Brazil, Qatar, Greece and many other countries.With their performance in the famous Carnegie hall were fascinated critics from the New York Times-a,and they said: "Fascinating is how these young artists perform the demanding steps".

On festivals always attract the attention of its rich program. Majstorije Grncara (Potters dances), Dances from Vojvodina, Shepherd dances, Krajiљte, Cikoљ dance, Dances from Kosovo, Dances from Vranje are just some of the dances that attract the beauty and richness of our national creativity and represent specific pearls of our program.
Youth ensemble and Children Ensemble in addition to the first ensemble of SCA Dimitrije Tucovic also can be proud with a large number of performances on the festivals all over the world.

In addition to these dance ensembles National Orchestra and Chorus Echo also have a notable role as one of the best in Belgrade. Echoes Choir was founded by Professor Dragoljub Љarkovic applicable for one of the best women's choirs in Europe and his assistants, Vesna Cvetkovic, Vesna Komazec, Zorica Mitev today Belgrade opera conductor.

We are making emphasis on working with children and youth ensembles through schools and preparatory to the first ensemble. Every year we organize two major concert for all participants with over 600 members in 18 sections.
