The Group comes from Wellington, New Zealand. The dance combines the cultures of Māori, the indigenous people of New Zealand, Samoa in South Pacific, and Cook Islands. Therefore, it could be seen as the combination of Māoriwith the spiritual and natural worlds, something like “Haka”, the war dance of ancient Māoriwarriors, and the traditional music ofSamoa people and Cook Islanders.
