Awa Dance, one of the three most famous ObonOdoris in Japan, originates from Tokushima Prefecture, with the history of about 400 years. The performance is in a parade style. The rank is lined in the sequence of children, females and males, and the people in the front row carry lanterns. People dance with Japanese flutes, Shamisens and Taikos, sometimesslowly and sometimesviolently. The Group has performed in the Song-Jiang Jen Battle Array in Neimen, Kaoshiung in 2013.
