The folkloric ensemble of the Sun Yat Sen Institute was born on March 3, 2012, under the direction of professors Leonardo Aguilar and his wife Loyda Velarde de Aguilar, who have had a long experience in national and international Folklore festivals, the Folkloric ensemble with approximately 170 students from 7 years to 17 years of age, has been presented at special events within our country, taking possession of Presidents of our country, was the official group that was presented to the President of Taiwan at his coming to Panama, our group is qualified within our Country with the high levels of our Panamanian folklore and is active throughout the year.
The Conjunto Folkloric is one of the largest nationally in Panama and is in the process of being part of the CIOFF (R), Panama National Section.
