Im Bangwul Korean Classical Music Promotion Association

團隊簡介

Founded in October 4, 1994, Im Bangwul Korean Classical Music Promotion Association was established to commemorate the artistic spirit of Im Bangwul with the aim of preserving, inheriting and promoting Korean classical music.

In order to inherit the artistic spirit of Im Bangwul and to foster talents in Korean classical music, Im Bangwul Classical Music Festival has been held for 25 years since its onset in 1993. The performance has taken place both domestically and abroad since 2012 (including Wuhan in China, Yokohama and Kobe in Japan, and Russia) to extend support for winners of the classical music festival.

Through various performances, this musical group has demonstrated the charm of Korean classical music to other countries, serving as a model team that makes outstanding contribution to Korea. It has been rated in Korea as tourism resource supporting an open project -- Traditional Korean Music Performance. Since 2014, this performance has been held several times in Seoul, Busan and Gwangju, allowing people to appreciate the cultural heritage and making great contribution to the development and revival of Korean classical music.
